Sarita GiriFormer Constituent Assembly Member and current Central Committee Member of Nepal Sadbhawana Party (Anandi Devi), Sarita Giri is well-known figure in the Nepalese politics. Giri has been affiliated with Sankalpa since she founded Centre for Women and Politics (CWAP), an NGO focused on protecting women’s political rights and implementing women’s’ involvement in forming a just, peaceful and democratic Nepal. Giri also served as one of the members of a five-member national task force entrusted with formulating policies and programmes to ensure the inclusion of women and marginalized groups in the new political system.
